The Colorado Professional Fire Fighters is sad to report the death of one of our own. Aurora Engineer Jason Murphy was riding his bicycle to work this morning when he was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to the hospital where he sucumbed to his injuries.
On February 18th West Metro Firefighters will be hosting an event to support Ed Perlmutter. This year he will face a real challenge with Joe Coors running against him. Coors is fiercely anti labor and has broken unions & supports anti union Right To Work legislation.
The 2012 Legislative Session is underway and it’s time we make our presence felt at the State Capitol. Lobby Day will be held on February 24th. Those who wish to participate please fill out the attached registration form.
